Lake Superior College which is also known as LSC is a two year technical and community College which has got the offerings of pre baccalaureate majors along with more than 90 degree programs in different fields which is technical and also in career. The Lake Superior College was established in the year of 1995. Lake Superior College was formed when the Duluth Technical College and Duluth Community College Center (which was technically the Duluth campus of Hibbing Community College) amalgamated in 1995. At the time, Duluth Community College was abode in a wing of The Marshall School, and Duluth Technical College was housed in Lake Superior College's current location. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED is an internationally documented green building certification system, focused on humanizing energy savings, water competence, CO2 emission diminution, indoor environmental quality, stewardship of resources and other environmental metrics. In 2010, Lake Superior College’s Academic and Student Services “S” building has become the first LEED focused building in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. Minnesota’s state colleges and universities have accepted special roles and responsibilities in fostering diversity in our society. We are dedicated to the search for knowledge and the rights of every individual in our learning communities to pursue that search with freedom, dignity, and security, regardless of race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, or membership or activity in a local commission.  Representing all sectors of higher education in Minnesota, we publicly declare our intention to:

The college provides 25% of the courses through online basis.
